My #family and I were #traveling in northern #Arizona. It’s wild how many businesses are not ♿️accessible at all. Many lost our businesses because we couldn’t bring in our stroller.

As a restaurant manager and a teacher since free fares started I have heard from employees and students about how scary the city busses are and how they avoid them if they can.

As a restaurant manager and a teacher since free fares started I have heard from employees and students about how scary the city busses are and how they avoid them if they can.
I have a different take on this. I think that fares SHOULD be free, but there should be a way to keep them safer and charging a fare does that. People are on the busses doing drugs, getting into fights, sleeping and this needs to stop so that those of us who want to us public trans can ride safely.
The Tucson City Council is again thinking about charging for bus passes, although locals are showing up to fight to keep transit free.

The most beautiful thing about #tucson during rain is how people come out of their houses to enjoy the weather. All of a sudden the neighborhood comes alive with the rain.
