My other character from this is Magsa (he//him), 27. He is Spectre's henchman and eventually one of his best friends. Magsa doesn't have any super abilities but does have a degree in computer science, is a great getaway driver, and aids with Spectre's rituals as needed.

A snippet from the fic I'm working on for day to of Jayvik Horror and Gothic Week
A red snippet square from Ellipsus with a quote from a fic stating: "While the symbols didn't quite make sense, Jayce dutifully copied them down from the reference in his notebook, as he had done with the magical runes he and Viktor had studied in another life barely years previously. Next Jayce placed the red candles he'd made laboriously while his mother was out. Their wax was deep and blood-like in the fading light and the fragrant scent of cinnamon and sea salt permeated the dusty air as Jayce positioned them according to the directions on the compass he had brought.

A snippet reading: "A yawn made Viktor's eyes prickle at the corners and when he turned the page the words swam in and out of focus. Witch each blink his lashes fluttered lower. He pouted at the last few bites of food left on his plate. Perhaps he should have gone to bed to read... What sounded like a door closing startled Viktor awake. He jolted up, fighting to free his hands of the blanket pulled up to his chin. When had he grabbed it? A brown ombre square over a photo of someone checking a house's electricity panel in the dark. The person is holding something that emits light behind the brown ombre square.
