Totally agree. It has also been marginalised in many social work curriculum, due to neoliberalism, focus on risk, managerialism. As a community social work practitioner I was frustrated by practice learning handbooks written by case workers for case workers.

Many thanks for posting Sean. Our hope is that universities across the world will be enabled to strengthen community development teaching by applying the tools in this article.
