This one was made in 2010. There have been other new Mazinger movies but this one does call backs to the original. From the control ship in the head to female mechs to the rocket fists. In other ways its a modern anime that makes it a bit more tiring with the usual anime tropes.

So I was looking for something to watch on Tubi and bumped into Mazinger Skl (aka Skull). Mazinger is an anime that has been around in various forms since 1974. I first saw the original 1974 in the early 80's when it was called Tranzor Z in the US. This is more of an Homage to the '74 one

I had a 2012 Victory Vision Tour. So I'm really sorry to hear about yours. We Victory owners are a rare breed. That bike was amazing. So much more bike than I ever wanted or needed. I love the look of Victory's and of course Polaris kills it and keeps Indian.

/2 I was going to write a multi part thing here but the ER vet just visited and it's over for my big guy. 14 years old. 13 with him. Nemo was the best dog ever but he is very sick and I am doing the humane thing.
He's had so much attention the last two weeks and today. I'm sending him off happy.

This movie is INSANE. I don't want to spoil things. So I'll just say I have never seen his method used, for breathing under water, in any other movie. This movie is NUTS and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it.
I mean the sequel is supposed to be all action. Compared to all the down time in this one?
