I believe since there were no official precon decks for this set Tolarian Community College put out a video where they create some precon-comparable (in power and price) decks built around Avatar legends

Don’t look back. I had such a bad relationship with that game before I quit a few months ago.

My 2c is that the disappointing reception of GPT-5 is kind of the catalyst here. It sparked a tone shift in reporting away from boundless optimism/hype, which is making many more people ask themselves the question “hey are the promises being made about this technology realistic?” (No, they aren’t!)

When you described The Midnight Walk earlier I was reminded of Papetura, another game with cool handmade art that is pretty short. That might be something that interests you!

To expand a little further on this though, "alternate" costs (e.g. blitz, cleave, overload, etc) and "additional" costs (kicker) work differently here. If the extra cost is additional, you can choose to pay it on top of the 0 mana you were paying when casting a spell through an effect like this.

When an effect allows you to cast a card without paying its mana cost, you don't get the chance to pay alternate costs, so you can't blitz it.
