I would argue here that the gaze upon TS is not “the male gaze” but rather the gaze of the public/fans and the subsequent commodification of her body/life/identity as a product

Id recommend checking out the fear of flying reddit - there are pilots on there who explain the situation so calmly and clearly. This screenshot is from a post earlier today. I have a very severe fear of flying whilst I also have to do it for my job, and it’s the only thing that’s helped.
