you should move the HP/ammo UI to the VFD.

I'm not currently playing through a browser, but a roku box running the youtube app, so this doesn't really work for me. Eventually I'm migrating to a media PC and then it might be useful, so thanks!

the fact they were allowed to continue to exist after DESTROYING A CITY just shows how invulnerable they are.

and if I launch Youtube Music (not regular Youtube) from my phone, THAT seems to stay casting past a single song. God only knows what that's about
February 12, 2026 at 8:17 PM
sometimes I'll get my phone out and tell it to play a playlist, like Sufjan Stevens Carrie and Lowell. It'll play the first song off it as intended, then next... it just goes "well I dunno, autosuggesting something... how about Capsized by Andrew Bird?"
February 12, 2026 at 8:16 PM
it's something to do with my phone/account disconnecting, because it likes to warn me about needing to connect my account
February 12, 2026 at 8:15 PM
so I have to get the remote and manually tell it to skip to the next song (Dark Matter, by Andrew Bird)
and when that finishes, it's like "you know what we haven't heard in a while? THAT'S RIGHT, CAPSIZED BY ANDREW BIRD!"
February 12, 2026 at 8:14 PM
it'll just be "that was a nice song, Capsized by Andrew Bird. You know what's similar to this song, and would fit next in a mix? Capsized, by Andrew Bird!"
February 12, 2026 at 8:14 PM
weird that it only started happening now. maybe pastebin just now added comments, or just unlocked old posts?

like reddit did that for some subreddits, and I suddenly got replies on comments I made 17 years ago

so side 1 lags by 0.5s, side 2 lags by 0.5s, and side 3 lags by 0.2s.

I didn't include a good image with the video, but here's a better one:
You can see there's a desync, and that the same audio is on both tracks.

You can also see the difference between the analog and digital soundtracks: The analog (top) is way noiser!
