Unprecedented events unfolding this morning: Yara, who never sits in my lap*, has just jumped onto my lap. Where Leyla was already sleeping. And Leyla, who absolutely hates having her back or butt touched, not only tolerates it not is actively grooming Yara!

The renewal of the most annoying discourse has made me crave waffles. So I started making waffles without checking if I had all the ingredients.
So TIL that waffles with olive oil, peanut butter and coconut butter instead of butter still taste great! Waffles rule.

My crochet 🧶 honeycomb pillow for my sister is finally finished! I went super overboard (vs what she expected from me) and also sewed a custom hexagon base pillow (with a zipper so it can be washed!), then hand sewed the crochet onto it. Felt good to finish this #wip off properly

She got overstimulated and jumped back up to her pillow. Now lies there still purring.

I just wanted to clean the cat hair off the sofa when Yara jumped off her perch, clearly saying that the brush should be *for her* only.
So now... There's A LOT more cat hair on the sofa! How can so much fur come from this little cat in just a couple minutes?

The cats are hogging the blanket*, so I've actually had to turn the heating on for the first time this winter ❄️

We went to the vet yesterday and this one did *not* want to come! But apart from the vaccines, I needed to get her checked up. Leyla has a chronic infection and she's been withdrawn lately, so I was worried it had flared up. But thankfully the vet cleared her! (So she doesn't need to go back)
