In my opinion, what's happening (or rather not happening) at AIMA should force the agency Minister, Leitão Amaro, to withdraw from public service in disgrace. Instead, he gaslights immigrants by claiming everything is going just fine and none of us are actually in the limbo we are in. Liar!

3/10 According to someone who survived the layoffs, leadership was EXTREMELY self-congratulatory about this "fantastic assistance." The messaging made it sound like we were the LUCKY ones, so magnificent was this service they'd graciously provided.
