Poetry fragment…

As our gods exist outside of space and time
The gods of the plants draw breath from beyond their greenness.
As our mentality cannot extend beyond the reaches of the knowable,
within the limiting verity of their greenness,
plants contemplate existence.
This flower cluster belongs to one of our PNW Ginseng family members. Any idea which plant?

“what refugees and migrants really represent for those who scapegoat them is the erosion of borders, realized in geographical lines, but ultimately in borders that are internal and related to our identities as selves, cultures and nations”
To Save Refugees and Migrants Is to Save Ourselves

In wild places human influence becomes less obvious, but wildness does not preclude the human. Wildness exists within us, and we exist as integral parts of wildness.
