People who like the horror side of RE dislike final areas bc they're always the most action focused, going all the way back to the labs in RE1. The boat in RE7 is a different beast, it isn't focused on anything at all.

idk I'm kinda sick of JRPGs thinking longer final bosses are better. This and FF16's were just really repetitive and exhausting, and I didn't die in either. I don't think a single fight should take over an hour, even if they grace you with checkpoints and skippable cutscenes (which they didn't).

I feel like Frieren is peak "everyone is 12 now" media. I can't believe it's been received so well by so many grown adults. Like even beyond the racist coding of the demons, that arc having the villain yell "my power level is 500" and Frieren smugly respond "mine is 1000"... what are we doing here
