US - Going into store. Wait in line for 30m for one of maybe 2 employees to help you. Told to call support for any asks.

Japan - 20+ people there to help. Instantly seated and helped. Handle everything even proactively updating address.

ChatGPT literally just made up 6 desserts and prices for them for a menu. Nicole was confused because there were just 3 on the actual menu and it gave me 6.

Looking at the picture I took, it didn't even have the desserts in the photo. Just the header.

Finally got assist and was able to move @xbox.com GamePass to subscribing in Japan just in time for 50% price increase.

But Microsoft Amazon store still selling them at 1450¥ per month. Stocked up to 3 years worth at old price and fully redeemed.

Bing Rewards support sent me a this beautiful email complaining at me that I shouldn't be using a VPN to earn rewards points in another country... After acknowledging my initial problem they didn't address it at all and sent me back to Microsoft Account Support..

I contacted Microsoft Support. They sent me to Xbox Support.

Xbox Support gave me a support number (7087443891) and sent me to Bing Rewards Support to fix my Microsoft Store region which they see as United States on the backend.

My Microsoft account is now Japan. My Xbox is now Japan and I have successfully purchased games on the Xbox Store in Japan in Yen. Xbox GamePass still wants to do USD and tells me that I can't subscribe because my "Store Region" is incorrect

Prime example of Trumps tariffs fucking the US even for products designed and developed by a startup in the US.

The Seattle Ultrasonics knife could be providing jobs for US delivery companies, truck drivers, package handlers, shipping ports & dock workers.

Instead, Canada is getting the jobs.

Feeling sorry for a Line user today.

I was finally able to setup a Line account with my Japanese phone number. Line accounts are tied to your phone number.

It said an account already existed. I had to delete their account to create mine. Even if they added an email, recovery requires phone.
