organized antifascism, persistent & dedicated antiracism on multiple fronts, with a diversity of tactics, was still what pushed him out of the public eye and ended his active campaign of nationwide nazi rallies. the punch was part of it & i celebrate this moment! but this wasn’t the finale.

and not to be a total nitpicking buzzkill, but every year i see a thousand posts that say “and he was never heard from again” or some variation on the idea that this punch ended his career. i wish that were true, but unite the right was seven months later.
