We're quickly moving towards an economic model where everything is a subscription. My car can remote start, but only if I pay 15$ a month. People were so worried about socialism taking away their private property that capitalism swept in and took their personal property.

I haven't watched Doctor Who since Capaldi. It's not like the show did anything wrong, I just fell out of interest.
