like i get that its supposed to be saying something about US involvement in the vietnam war but. the US messed up every step of the way.. just feels like excusing the US role in vietnam as “having no choice” rather than taking a real stance against it

yeah its definitely a simplification, though i still think its kind of a useless topic to argue about since it is so heavily dependent on how people individually project or relate to their favorite characters… very intriguing though in that respect
