Congress doesn’t rubber stamp DJT’s actions out of any sense of loyalty. They do it because they’re cowards. They’re terrified that the Trump machine will move against them in next year’s election if they object.

I don’t believe that most MAGA folk are stupid. I do believe that they are gullible, which might be worse. Stupid people can’t change what they are.

I highly recommend that you watch “A House of Dynamite” on Netflix. Keep in mind who the current people are who would be making those decisions. It is terrifying to consider.

So, DJT lied about what his obscene ballroom would do to the White House. No surprise there. We can only hope, when this chaos is done and whoever succeeds him tears it down and restores the east wing, that he is alive to see it.

Metropolitan police departments would be well within their authority and jurisdiction to arrest ICE agents that break the law, just as they would be with any other rogue LEO. Just saying.
