i use layer filters pretty aggressively to achieve what im trying to do, and i separate things so much there's no real avenue for blending color. it's definitely not a strength i didn't think, but my idiot brain does enjoy it

on bsky i get more interactions, i think even more shares, but very few follows. no comments. i suppose since it feels less good (and less comfortable for my needs, the smaller scale was easier for me to manage mentally) that it's felt hard

this was kind of the opposite effect as twitter, though. i had far less interactions, but those interactions were higher quality. pretty much any time i posted something (not that often) i'd get a new follower. people sometimes commented!

i never had any large presence online (certainly not enough to make much of any money on) due to social / mental health problems, but i previously had a small following (like 80ish) on cohost before it imploded without much warning and it has felt more or less impossible to get motivated again

it's definitely a pretty concerted effort to come off that and go "ok how do i solve my first problem" and obviously that's a ton of research being new

depends on the kind of game but i've played one where stealing / pickpocketing would just generate an extra item independent of the loot table. can have silly interactions obviously but it does feel nice to the player to get extra things
