Probable next project, the Comanche-3 three-stage. I built the same thing in 1982. The original boasted 2600 feet--but was 12gm lighter than this! The nose cone was thin vacu-formed plastic. Modern is heavier styrene. /1

I don't expect this to fly, but it's built by the instructions. I'm running glazing putty on the wings to smooth them, since Batman's stuff is uber clean. Still, it should fly with maybe a little ballast in the nose, depending on how heavy the tail is with the glazing on it.

Been about 20 years since I built my last pair of Estes birds. They never flew and are collecting dust.
This one's been in its packaging until a few nights ago, when I decided it was time. This batwing'd missile is my nephew's xmas present. /1
