The Polish Diaspora in the EU voted for the centrist Rafał Trzaskowski (31.2%). US & Canada-based Polish migrants voted for the conservative Karol Nawrocki (29.7%) Both will go into the 2nd round.
Far-right Slawomir Mentzen (14.8%) was 3rd & Grzegorz Braun (6.3%) fourth.

Today, parish churches across Ireland are helping the Polish community celebrate our Easter traditions. On Easter Saturday, Poles bring baskets of Easter food for blessing. Each basket should have eggs, bread, salt, horseradish, sausage/bacon, Easter cake 'Babka', and a sugar lamb.

In the XIXth century, Jan Matejko created artistic images of Polish Kings which were used to design Polish currency notes. Bolesław Chrobry is on the 20pln note.
