Just the man Blackpool need in a relegation scrap…

Given the size of the fee and where we’re at he’s been comfortably the worst signing since Marvin Sordell. Hope there’s an obligation to buy.

Great listen, especially the interview with Josh Sheehan. There's a lad that gets it.

Excellent piece, Marc.

“A sharp loss of form over Christmas amplified the whispers of disquiet at Lostock, where unsettled players with authoritative voices began to make their unhappiness heard.”

They need showing the door ASAP. Starting with McAtee.

Possibly and it’s very hard to second guess their thinking at the moment. I have to question why Hutchinson (23) was given a 2 year deal, why Broome (24) was given a 3 year deal and why they’re now signing a 25 year old if the other two aren’t deemed good enough?

I just hope (and pray) this new keeper is better than the last one we got from Fleetwood…

Always the danger of course of this happening when loaning a player. Wouldn’t be surprised if he rocks up at Strasbourg just to annoy their fans a bit more.
Some situation for Harrington to be pitched in to on Saturday!

Appreciate that, Marc. Always good to hear questions that can’t be dismissed with a ‘dunno’.

I’m glad you left your questions to the manager in the podcast, Marc. Probing questions that elicited interesting, and for me, thought provoking answers. Much to read into between the lines. Great work.

I'm of the opinion that the squad has downed tools and to use the well-worn phrase, Schumacher has lost the dressing room. It doesn't matter if I agree with or not but this always only ends one way.

Twas ever thus and forever will be, sadly, Marc.
Probably from the mouths of those who buggered off when the penalty went in.

First thought is the strong bench today.
Second thought is Morley and Cogley are on the way out in January.

Enjoyed reading that. Great photography! Look forward to issue No.2.

Thanks for that article, Marc. I’m guessing the clubs hands are tied by legal opinion on how much they can publicly? What’s clear is that Harkin has acted pretty decisively. As for players leaving, the old cliche that no player is bigger than the club is pertinent.

Are you planning on having an interview anytime soon with David Ray, Marc? Seems to be a guy who goes about his work with the minimum of fuss.

Good pod and really enjoyed listening to the highly impressive Richie Kyle.

That's why U-16s aren't given the vote.

Just out of interest, have Evani and Lombardo ruled out staying on for next season, Stephen?

Thoughts with whoever has to take the next corner for Samp if they come back out…
June 22, 2025 at 8:21 PM
A little more composure in front of goal and Samp should be going in two up at half time. Then again, 38 goals in 38 league games this season kinda explains that miss.

If this atmosphere can’t motivate the team then nothing will.

Think the answer is in your book, Miguel.
