#Farefreebuses have been tried in several cities. In Boston the buses in segregated Roxbury & Mattapan have become the slowest buses in the entire MBTA system adding yet another inequity to the others that exist. Those bus routes have no bus lanes & are the busiest.

Nonetheless, #regulatoryinertia/politicalgridlock/ a lack of investment are holding back renewable energy deployment. In the US major energy projects take an average of 4.5 years to permit & approval of new transmission lines can take a decade or longer.
