A whole day of baking, some trials and fails, but I got my bakers box filled with yummy goodies!

Taking a break from making biscuits

Me to myself: "I'll take it easy today. Focus on laundry, chill out, and not get sucked into baking anything."
The flour, sifting into my soul: "How about a chicken pot pie?"
Anyways: Mushroom and Peas Chicken Pot Pie. Forgot to dress up the top, but the taste was still delicious!!

Reminded myself today why baking is my hobby and not sewing. Ouchie.

Woke up today not feeling the best; bloated, irritated, and a shower did NOT help. So I went i to the kitchen, put on my headphones, and made some French toast with the homemade bread we had left before it went bad. A dollop of whipped cream cheese as well. #breakfast #frenchtoat #kitchenmeditation

Made these mini lemon tea cakes with two types of glaze; the ones with bees have honey glaze the ones with purple flowers have vanilla glaze. They were delicious and a big hit at our spring gathering! #baking #cakes #minicakes
