For reference : sitting down in the presence of riot cops will get you a boot to the face, a knee to the temple, a baton to the neck and first huff of the CS gas.

Oh and dislocated shoulders when they haul you away bodily.

DON'T. SIT. DOWN.

That's how you know it's not a violent insurrection or invasion or whatever else the hobby fascists in government and media are calling it.

it would absolutely not be funny as heck if it happened to be a Starlink one... 😇

Now... I am no legal scholar... But I am very aware of the US love for precedent.

Between a hundred and two hundred people have been sent out of the US without due process and I'll bet my pants on their lawyers pouncing on this case.

You're gonna need a lot of judges working overtime.

The DOJ has a flimsy case they are gonna try to "gotcha" him with but it's veeery thin.

Thin as in if it was a dress it'd be indecent to wear in public.

Skill issue? 🤔😅

Telling the client that what they're asking/proposing simply won't work (especially after the boss who also doesn't understand my field has said it would).

My take on rich people

By my rough estimation I'd be losing on shipping either way, on top of a loss of time.

Decided to tank the cost and keep the "wrong" part for future stuff.

Return shipping plus shipping on second purchase would eat away on any savings meaning I'd save at most $5 on not keeping the part.

"can I pet that dawg?"

I bought the wrong part for a build I'm doing. So now comes the struggle, do I wait the two weeks for it to arrive and then send it back while ordering the correct part with the refund...

Or do I just eat the cost and order the new one now?

this actually happened to me personally. I was ambidextrous as a kid but had a teacher who threatened to break my arm if she caught me writing, drawing or performing any assigned task with my left.

Now I can't relearn it due to trauma.

Thank you, that's good to know but also very sad to hear 🫤

It's been reliable and has failed once in an entire year of printing and that was me pushing a wet tpu at wrong settings.

I was under the impression that they had walked back a lot of the stuff people reacted to
