it felt like nintendo REALLY wanted this game to launch alongside the switch 2 or very, very close to it. releasing at the last possible moment in 2025… this is all just pure speculation though

honestly it seems like there’s might’ve been a rush from higher up in nintendo to get this game out the door by 2025 and no later. there was a lot of odd things surrounding the launch—the Prime 1-3 retrospective got delayed originally, two amiibos strangely launched a whole Month ahead of the game,

getting a glimpse into this game’s development would be so, so interesting that i hope that somehow we might learn a bit of it someday. but im not optimistic about that being anytime soon

i think this game was definitely marred by troublesome development and ultimately, they had to get something out the door. fortunately for me the good parts outspoke the bad, and those parts make me confident a more focused approach to prime 5 from retro would really be amazing.

i think, at the very least, we will see more sylux. especially given some details in his backstory cutscene that have some Interesting timeline implications that makes me almost sure we are certainly not done with him. but i think you’re right in that a prime 5 could completely skip over 4

yeah… the only way to really justify it being a 100% reward would be if they Actually used him in the story and it would just be a bonus. but nope lol. i think they trilogy baited too hard at the end, and what story does exist here answers so little about sylux, lamorn that its unsatisfying

sylux’s backstory cutscene doesn’t even leave a whole lot to chew on character-wise lmao. there are some interesting details in it but it’s more so the implications of the background details and what they might mean going forward
