Feeling lucky to be able to enjoy a quiet Sunday morning with a book and a cup of coffee.

Reading Close to the Veg by Michael Rand. A joy of a book. Anecdotes and tales about growing veg on an allotment. Think The Detectorists, with gardeners rather than metal detectorists. Wonderful.

Said goodbye to a beautiful stray cat last night. Lived with us for over 4 years but still enjoyed their freedom.

Brought them inside, placed them on their favourite cosy chair, covered them with their blanket, and stayed with them until they passed. Wanted them to know they were not alone 😢💔
