they were so many weird shapes, sizes, and colors, too! i can think of like 4 or 5 that we used to use, plus an insane number that were just turned upside down on various plants during shoulder seasons.

growing up my parents never did anything about this, and it seems like the sort of thing they would have thrown a cut out upside down bucket over if it mattered (i don't know how there were so many buckets in the 80s)
