Oof that’s way worse than mine! bsky.app/profile/fox....
So it turned out the flathub version of pi imager was several versions behind and didn’t write the new config file properly. I ended up flashing it with the latest version’s appimage and all was well.

I think I could have also flashed it and then edited the yaml manually before booting but that didn’t occur to me last night

I felt like I’d seen this issue before so I went to look for /etc/wpa_supplicant … doesn’t exist. Ok, so Google says it uses a new network config yaml file that runs on first boot. Guess I have to flash it again? A few more tries, but it still doesn’t work
