My most recent OC is a wetan from the Stillfleet TTRPG named Musing Thread Finder! I adapted her from a premade 😅 but she's a sociologist who specializes in migration and xenocultures... and finds terrans kinda cute >w< so she hangs around the bioengineering labs a lot! #heroforge #stillfleet #wetan

My first OC is technically Tiny Doc! He's gone through a LOT of iterations in his time, but his big poof of hair and his simplistic design keep him tied to his humble roots of pen scribbles in activity sheets and spiral notebooks ❤️
Tiny Doc as depicted waaaaaaay back when I was in fourth grade. This is the only old drawing I could find on short notice! Most of my characters at this point were drawn like this - profile view of the face, but front view of the eyes and chest. Whether Tiny Doc had glasses or not was pretty random, but he almost ALWAYS had big pompadour-esque hair. Tiny Doc's original reference from back when the Docs started becoming individual personas in their own right. Tiny's hair poof is basically just a round shape and his eyes are still a little intense. He doesn't have a neck (I didn't really draw many necks until Doodle Doc arrived on the scene) and his hands and feet are ovals. Tiny Doc in color, from 2019. By this point he'd abandoned the round hair and two-line-dot ears in favor of a wild spiky mop and toony-but-plausible ears, part of a group redesign to keep the Docs looking at least a little similar 😅. In color you can see his eyes are green! He still prefers his signature purple "D" shirt and his hands are still blobs for the most part. My most recent Tiny Doc drawing! Here Tiny is wearing a bandana, long tee with pocket tucked into his belt, and jeans (which was an outfit I wore recently). He's got longer hair here, and now his hands are allowed to be a little more... hand-shaped. But he's still by far the youngest of the main Docs and he's always just happy to be here /w\

This statue was defaced by hate groups in December of 2020. They left horrible messages including threats like "We are everywhere." Locals responded with outrage and came out en masse to pay respect and speak out against the hate.

A little context. Bill Wassmuth, a priest in North Idaho, was a leader in the fight against the neo-Nazi movements of the 1980s head on (they even bombed his house). He founded several coalitions dedicated to promotion of human rights and stopping bigotry and fascism.

The man is worth a Google.

This building is new. Recently opened to the public. It's closed today in honor of Indigenous Peoples Day.

It's named after Phil Batt, former Republican governor of Idaho and a supporter of both this monument and the Add the Words movement. He died last year.

During the Nov. 5 general election, Idaho voters will vote on Proposition 1, a ballot initiative that would end closed party primary elections in Idaho and create ranked-choice voting in the general election. It would take a simple majority of votes on Election Day to be approved.
