In the oppressive environment we're in now I would really encourage my fellow queers to be thoughtful about this. They WANT this language to be normalized. Do not comply in advance.

To be clear I do sometimes think its funny (in a horrible way) to call MYSELF a fag / make jokes like that about myself. But everytime you make a joke like that in public you're normalizing/popularizing homophobia.

Like yeah I did actually believe you are that dumb and shitty, that's not a good thing for you.

But the issue with ragebaiting is that you are completely spineless if you do it, you immediately tank trust and reputation (whether friends or consumers), which is what happened w pantone. You hold no values and when people question your ragebait you deflect and say "haha you fell for it"
