if anyone knows where I could find a scan of the PC-9801VX hardware manual (not the BASIC reference), let me know! couldn't find one and I'm curious to know what some of the jumpers do

- use a proxy service and buy through yahoo auctions/fleamarket/etc. (easiest to come by, but more expensive due to shipping)
- buy from someone who imports at a local retro computing event (rarer, but you *can* get a good deal)
- go to japan I guess?

afaik this was upgraded with a 486 before I owned it, but it still runs comically slow. I think it's driven at a much lower clock regardless, or cache is disabled, haven't poked around inside and researched enough...
