I think that most media about transsexual women and transfemininity is ultimately versions of this. Our bodies are meat, and meat is subject to intent of the consumer. The rest is projection.

Anyway, one of the heaters from Love, Death and Robots, which has maybe two really good ones per season, is "The Drowned Giant." It's about people interacting with and relating to an alien, but recognizably human, body. Some are disrespectful, some are gawkers and looters. Some are contemplative.

And I'm not opposed to the use of the macabre RE gender issues! I wrote a short story where one character only relates to trans women via the autopsies they perform on hate crime victims. There's a difference between using discomfort, and disrespecting real people by jerking Blanchard off.
