Oh boy! Here’s a rock I found! And a drip. Drip was my nickname in high school.

When I remember to pause and look around I find these moments that bring the tangible world into me, where it acts as a tonic to my dread of the ole work commute. I think the theme here is to slow down and enjoy the journey.

When I turn off my brain and experience my surroundings, dramatic scenes unfold.

A cactus once stood here until it was felled by the weight of its own greed.

I feel a kinship with grumpy street cats who block parking spots. #catcatcat

I came across John Clymer in a gallery in Scottsdale. His consistency with adding small details to pique emotion into faces and color palates to add depth draws interest. When you get closer, you can see where the layers of paint and brush strokes throw a 3rd dimension onto his works.

Mary Oliver’s Everything.

Once, years ago I rode up a mountain on my bike. I will never have the words to describe the tides of exhaustion where they crashed onto the shores of the persistent nature of the mountain. The words are there, but I am too small.

This came up in a well churned path where the dogs tear through at full speed 5-10 times per day. Maybe it was impulsive of the flower to push into the race track like this. We will have wait and see.

The math and science it takes to describe the energy here makes me feel tiny. It also makes me feel special to be here in this moment at this exact time where all the photons decided to have a flash-mob in the courtyard of my eyes.

Also, one of those clouds is a duck.

This was taken a couple weeks ago and like everything it got filed in the “share it later file.” It made me think about seasons turning on numerous levels. It reminds that it’s time to organize my seeds and work the soil, tend the plants, and enjoy the harvest. Love is responsibility.

Hot pot and then getting ready for the theater. I am so grateful for our family, love of food, and the arts.

Pearl E. Girley is showing off her ups on the utility trailer. It’s hard to believe she’s part raccoon. #immaherdyou

The cat, the legend, Billmurray came by to grace me with his presencethis evening. This old man, who refuses to come inside for more than 13 hours, once a month is just living his best life. Glad you're still here buddy.
