I fucking jinxed it… Now instead of taking my kid to training in the morning and waiting calmly in a warm hallway for an hour and a half, I have to do it in the evening — standing in the cold at a bus stop for over an hour, waiting for a minibus

I always thought it was just an insult for a big, clumsy guy
(Larikon sometimes calls Berkan that).
Turns out one of its meanings is

I always thought it was just an insult for a big, clumsy guy
(Larikon sometimes calls Berkan that).

This is some real fucked-up shit. Toward the end of the month my head started hurting, but painkillers helped. Three or four days went by. On the fifth day I finally felt okay again and thought, “Great! I’ll start working!”
And then — bam. The next day ⬇️

I’ve hit a bit of a snag with chapter two, specifically with figuring out how Lari and Berkan actually feel about each other.
At first I got stuck on the idea that Lari treats Berkan with hostility, like a feral cat. And there are reasons for that: Berkan is very straightforward, ⬇️
