I'm not sure what exactly im supposed to do rn with this game. I constantly hear people say "just play with your friends and get better" but like all my friends are low level or very loyally dedicated to their team. I didn't grind up with people I reviewed myself and now there's no one

really, really hope i can find the group im looking for to play in the NA league. everyone else is happy and has their groups but i feel very demotivated that i cant find even a half decent group. i hate that i probably wont end up playing because of that, damn.

Kept up with some of the best players in the west in sendouq today. It feels really fuckin amazing knowing that my work preparing to play as quick and efficiently as my team lets me has payed off and applies just as well as I had hoped.

Im on the right track, Ive just gotta keep at it 💪

A new motivation has crystallized for me lately: I want to be more individually notable within this scene

I’ve been putting in a ton of independent work on my skills, and it’s not all clear to see yet, but I really want to get there. I think I can be a really insane player if I keep pushing myself

For silksong to be advertised as “the same quality in a new world of content and with a more agile/unique player character” was honestly just magical for me. Spoiler alert, it lived up to the hype I think. Can’t wait for you to get around to it ^w^

The silksong wait for me was such incredible payoff because my opinion on HK is that it’s a 10/10 in nearly every category, but the playstyle/moveset of the knight is like a 4/10 at best. The music and story and boss DESIGN are so perfect but this box-on-wheels character drags a lot down.

Even without that most of them have just had too much weirdness and inconsistency with their apologies and actions since returning. Only one that I’ve seen that’s been relatively clean has been .q but even then like I haven’t even heard much

My hope is that NA League will freshen things up. Anyone who has talked to me knows I've never once believed in the "this community is dying" type shit but for once I'm seeing some signs that are dragging us through the mud. I want us to be better, I hope we can all just have fun with this game

People are kind of losing hope in the creators and players at the head of the community; not overtly but there are some things with a few people at the top that just bring everyone down. Moonlight struggling to perform as the fan-favorite team, kyo accepting the jackpot players, it all subtly hurts.

I feel like this is the least active the comp community has been in a while, and it all started around the time right after riptide. It's just a theory but I know Jackpot's return being put up with was really demotivating for me and many others; but I think it went further than that.
