Spent the day nose-to-nose with this in-progress piece. The rule of clay is don’t get attached to your build till after the last firing, but when it lovingly stares at you all day, it’s hard to resist. No promises, but this guy may turn into an adorable hedgehog lamp.

Brush Cleaning Water Box
The scallops hold brushes that I’m still using. Textured bottom effectively cleans out all paint and glaze, reaching right to the bristle base. The domed shape of the bottom allows the pigment to gather at the outside edge, leaving cleaner water.
