I'm working on librefm support for multi-scrobbler now but it has some limitations in it's last.fm implementation that are making it difficult. It'll have support eventually, though!

I could do that 👀

This is the problem with the usb-c standard not requiring clear labelling or having sets of standard features.

All usb-c cords are different cables wearing the same trenchcoat. 😮‍💨

I didn't know about this service! As a new dev to atproto, backup/migration has been a question in the back of my mind but here you are being the hero we all need. Thanks for making such a vital tool and congrats on the funding!

They smashed it out of the park on 2/3 hardware announcements. Let them have their weird, fat controller.

@ezraboeth.com They make their money on hardware and walled garden experience. Apple Music is a first party product with a captive userbase, why would they need to provide a quality *public* api?

It really is maddening. multi-scrobbler has this *mostly* solved because Youtube Music does the same thing (but due to it being scraped from browser). I ended up using the polling interval plus some list diffing logic to determine "scrobbled at" timestamp. github.com/FoxxMD/multi...

Kudos to @mmatt.net and the @teal.fm team for eating the cost for a developer account and (eventually) implementing a (free?) api middleman to retrieve users history.

The other issue is that apple music history doesn't apply to radio, podcasts, and doesn't include timestamps...😬

For multi-scrobbler specifically, no. Turns out it's *really hard* to use the Apple Music API as a one-off/in a self-hosted environment. It's been attempted [several times](github.com/FoxxMD/multi...) but the hurdles are high.
