I’ve been sick for the past couple weeks, and I finally got back to 100% a few days ago. Last night, after thoroughly washing and sanitizing everything, I finally started my peanut caramel apple mead.

Tonight, I racked my apple cyser, strawberry melomel, and batch beta of my muscadine pyment, separating any fruits. I also added a spice pack to the first apple cyser and started up a second. There’s still stuff to do that I haven’t gotten to yet. I am exhausted.

I just finished starting a pumpkin mead, and I roasted two pie pumpkins for it, too. As soon as I get another vessel freed up, I’ll start up another batch of apple cyser.

I added the grapes to Batch Beta of my muscadine pyment, and started up a strawberry melomel. The grapes got crazy dark as the color leached out of the skins after freezing them, turning the juice a beautiful purple. I hope the melomel will also retain its vibrant red.

It’s still a mead because it’s primarily fermented from honey. The grapes were supposed to add extra flavor, making it a pyment or clarre. The name tends to change depending on what other flavors get added.

A couple weeks ago, I was worried that Batch Alpha of my muscadine pyment had stalled its fermentation. Good news though, I checked it today, and it didn’t stall, it finished. Batch Alpha fermented completely dry, sitting pretty at 11.55%.

I can personally attest that the AYN Odin2 Portal is another solid choice for gaming handhelds. They run from $329-$499, depending on how much RAM and storage you want. It runs on Android, but if you have good internet at both ends, you can run Steam Link anywhere and stream games from your home PC.

But we failed to recover the amulet, Solomon turned against the Spire, and stole Furfur's Spark. Whatever plans Solomon had would have to wait. We licked our wounds, and later regrouped with the flagship of the Dracalopex fleet, The Silver Scale, helmed by Glacius' cousin, Capt. Sorbet Dracalopex.

We needed more information, and reinforcements, so we consulted Count Solomon, a specialist in occult magic and both bestowing and purifying curses from magical artifacts. If anyone had the skill to retrieve the amulet without releasing Furfur, or the strength to beat him if we did, it was him.

The cabin belonged to Belthelaneus Kroll, an Arcanaloth scholar and fiend-for-hire. His partner in crime was a soft-spoken oppossum we knew at the time as Teleportation Jim. Kroll's cabin moved around; it was tough to predict when and where they'd show up next, but it was always fun when they did.
