Not trying to sway, just saying that for three GWs I’d rather have Bruno and Saka than Salah and Anderson unless I believed I wanted to double Salah’s points in some of that period

You don’t get the logic that a higher value player has to do more via captaincy to justify paying that much for him? If he scores 350 points maybe not… but at 230-250 I’d rather have Bruno for 180points at 9, and put 4.5 into making Anderson Saka. Scale down for x gws of course

I think for there to be fewer template picks, pricing has to be a bit on the high side generally and then we have to get lucky. What causes templates isn’t just the prices, but that players underperform their pricing so everyone goes for the same ones.

And for what it’s worth, if they keep bonus the same and in the interest of keeping everyone an option and having decisions to make I think 6m is the right price. It won’t rule him out, won’t guarantee he’s in every team, at least till we see how the team dynamics work

How often has he even played in back 4? I think he’ll need 1) a lot of bedding in, 2) won’t be nailed to start, and 3) his attacking output hugely dependent on a fit CB-RB to tuck in. Be very surprised if more than 6 given defender points this year, and I won’t have him at that price given Pep

Certainly not there yet, but anyone (yes even Hojlund) ahead of Cunha and Mbeumo with Bruno deeper will be miles better than what we’ve had this season
