Last game of the season, Palace were in administration & they played at Hillsborough. If Sheff Wed won they stayed up & we went down. Was 2-2. Think the relegation probably set Wednesday on the path of dodgy chancer owners. Zaha came thru youth team & one great window & we got promoted.

Obviously a lot of other water under the bridge since but that 2010 game feels like one of the most consequential matches in memory in terms of the paths it set the two teams on. There was every chance we got wound up if we'd lost. Good to see you coming back

I got VdB as a Gabriel replacement last week thinking he'd be a bit different. Looks like he'll be about 50% owned (on FPL social media)! He's got big shoes to fill. Pinnock's 15 pointer v Chelsea & Ajer on a FH once have been good to me.

Don't think of it as a free hit. Just do whatever transfers you'd do anyway & hit FH in a week where that's a -12 or more. You can still do the transfers again for an actual hit the next week if you still want all the same ones. Think of it as the free moment of reflection chip.

I'm 53 and very early on in that decided that I'm happy to die not having ever tied my shoes properly. I've got less time than you to worry about it at least.

Going against hype trains and finding players doing well but not being picked up is a big part of the game, surely. Having everything in the game totally ordered & predictable probably worse than the odd frustrating rise/fall.

I'm at a similar stage but only have 4 players from your squad (Dubravka, Muñoz, Palmer & Watkins) so in that respect I spose I "disagree". TBF guess it all falls into the category of "reasonable punts" at this stage. You need some trains! I guess a few of them are more popular here than overall tho

It's a funny one when players move on. You part want them to prove all you've said about them on a higher profile stage, half want your team to have had the best of them. And you don't want goals v you! Olise going to Bayern & doing well was about the sweet spot for me!

I think I just don't love chips full stop & preferred the ability to manage a squad well for 20+ week stretches without get out of jail free cards being an advantage. TBF it's been moving away that anyway & I don't really mind. Should add a cash your chips in feature for unused chips!
