FPL legend. Handsome. Funny. Dangerous. Humble.

23/24 OR 5k.

I actually follow back.
I’m swapping Doku for him, who despite getting 2 assists was nowhere near the BPS. Foden on the other hand got 2 goals, 3 BPS, and DEFCON.

I’ll take the odd benching because if he’s on form he’s going to haul.

Zero chance Palace beat Arsenal. Glasner will have written it off already is suspect.
November 30, 2025 at 4:49 PM
There’s no way of doing that effectively though. The board will want a focus on the Premier League due to the money at stake (and given the league position before today), but Glasner will be very keen to progress in Europe.

Carabao Cup will have already been written off due to the date.
November 30, 2025 at 4:45 PM
My major concerns are what’s happening with Esse and Uche.

If it was clear Glasner wasn’t going to play Esse he should have gone on loan, and Uche clearly wasn’t a Glasner option so he just won’t play him. This has put further reliance on the very few first team players.

He’s just waiting to see which big jobs are available in the summer, and if Palace don’t progress in the Conference League group stage he’ll be looking to exit for a bigger job as soon as the manager gets sacked mid season.

Palace seem to be great in the first half of games, so give the 1st XI 45 mins and then get some of them off for the second half and defend a lead.

4 subs AFTER going 2-1 is not helpful when 3 of them were Devenny, Lerma and Hughes. They’re all useful as long as you’re not losing!

Glasner reminds of Roy in how bloody minded he is about rotation. Sarr injured again, and won’t be the last because they can’t sustain this amount of football without the necessary rest.

But he’s trying to make a point to the club about signings for Jan I suspect.

Very noticeable Palace are favourites today too.

I like Lammers but he needs time, Martinez will help if he’s ever fit, and Sesko seems ok, but Utd have recruited so badly it’s bizarre. Don’t think the formation helps given Bruno is the best player, they need to change or he needs to go.
November 30, 2025 at 11:22 AM
As a Palace fan I’ve made the point numerous times about how bizarre it is seeing these sides play the same formation and Palace having so many who could start for United.

At the very least Henderson (Utd should never have sold him), Guehi, Munoz, Wharton and Mateta would make Utd’s 11 today.

Enjoy the game Marc, big night tonight as I see Strasbourg as the main threat in this competition so the performance and result will show us how optimistic we can be about Palace winning the whole competition!
November 27, 2025 at 1:19 PM
Agree, you can’t imagine Mateta getting the wages he wants in Spain, Italy, Germany or France as unlikely Barca/Madrid/Atletico/Bayern/PSG would go for him.

Unlikely a US move would materialise, so that leaves other Premier League sides (most top sides have just bought strikers as well), or Saudi.

You’ve made another failed attempt to establish authority in this conversation here, so I’m going to move on.
November 23, 2025 at 8:30 PM
In fairness to Eze he was interviewed by Idris Elba recently, and after having his achievements for this calendar year listed to him and being asked what his hopes for the next year are, he said “more of the same” so at least he clearly recognises what he’s achieved with Palace.
November 23, 2025 at 7:41 PM
Importantly as you’ve said, Palace can be seen as a place to develop and grow for top young talents.

You’re clouting on…yourself it seems.
November 23, 2025 at 6:37 PM
I’m still waiting for the barrage of people talking about how good he’s become SINCE he joined Arsenal…🤣
November 23, 2025 at 5:42 PM
It doesn’t super feel like saying “I bet that first sentence sounds very clever to you” as an attempt to claim authority is very compelling either.

Good luck trying to come across as the good guy, whilst failing to belittle others and claim they’re doing it to you.
November 23, 2025 at 5:07 PM
I’m already getting heat from Arsenal accounts for pointing this out. Sad.

I’d love to see the way the club would handle it if the fans make a Tifo suggestion they don’t like.
November 23, 2025 at 4:58 PM
I’m sure you thought this reply was clever.

Take some time to understand Tifo’s and their history on football and fan culture and then come back to me.
