So I've started a new crochet 🧶 project using this.

Since this was spun and dyed by a rural woman, I figured I'd keep the trend and for the contrast stitch I used a nice green yarn from the co-op Manos del Uruguay.

Keeping it rural and empowering women in rural areas.

The past couple of days I've been off work due to illness. A great excuse to try a new crochet 🧶 style, it has taken a few restarts to get to this point. But it makes sense now. 😅

Practical crochet 🧶 project complete!

I learnt some lessons when making the mesh panel (making accidental triangles instead of squares 😅).

Only 2 months in and I'm starting to appreciate the patience needed.

Pattern by two of wands - french market bag.

4.5mm hook + 400m 8ply cotton.
