Your subconscious contains a goal striving mechanism. It is intimately connected with your conscious mind and feeling states.

You need to think and feel (and talk) about your desires for them to materialize.

I quit my amazing job this month - with a great mission, great salary and benefits, a dream job by most standards... so that I could focus on doing the things that make life feel like playing a game. It was hard and is already the greatest decision of my life. So grateful this Thanksgiving.

Sugar is a helluva drug.

Just ate a fresh baked cinnamon sugar pecan pull-apart and tbh, I only eat that stuff when my headspace is perfectly emotionally free and I'm hungry.

You CAN manage a relationship with carbohydrates but you'll need to bring you A game. Never eat emotional support carbs.

The cost of truly changing your life is sometimes people you dearly love.

I'm not saying it's worth it - that's up to you.

But you might have to choose:
your friend group or obesity.
your spouse or your mental health.
your co-workers or your dream.
