Nauseated and hungry I search for some cleaner care. But all I find is this same earth; the poison fruit we all dare. I relegated my conscience. I detonated my life. But the avoidance of conflict. Creates nothing but this strife. Now time is come for an escape. My feed are glued to the ground. My stomach growls with the envy Of all the nothing I found.

The Owl's Moon.

Broken Promises. I left your heart this morning, but still linger in your mind. I feel your thoughts against me, both the loving and unkind. And for years I’ve wallowed through them, the quagmire and endless rhyme. The touch and deprivation, one broken promise at a time. And in fear of isolation, I would always let you leave. But in this intimidation, my heart became a giant sieve. So I left your heart this morning, to find someone new to grieve. And you say you’re seeing clearly, but you know I can’t believe.

Fall. I once sought refuse in leaf strewn skies blowing greens, golds, crimsons, browns. As if some miraculous transformation could touch the breath in my lungs and make it numb to me. But the air just feels cold now, words feel like fire, and both burn equally. It’s like the sky is rarely there anymore and the fall only collapses me.
