But then there’s no more albums until 1997 when the label releases The Best of Zodiac Mindwarp and it’s LITERALLY JUST THEIR FIRST ALBUM WITH THE COVER CROPPED. Nothing from the second album or any EP, just the exact tracks from Tattooed Beat Messiah. Never seen that with any other band. 🤷♂️ fin.

Watched Event Horizon last night. When I first saw it decades ago, I hated it. What was I thinking? Some clunky dialogue, some ropey CGI, but worth it for the production design alone. It’s a three-star movie but it’s a four-star three-star movie.

Wait, Tom Holland’s dad is DOMINIC HOLLAND? I will forever love him for when he was compèring the comedy tent at The Phoenix Festival in ‘94. It had been a great show until Linda Smith came on and she was being brutally heckled by two guys in the middle of the crowd. It was horrible. 1/

I despise generative AI, I don’t value art that bypasses humanity. I’m drawing the line right here (although I would still watch a remake of Thelma and Louise starring Estelle Reiner and Catherine Scorsese 😬).

Haven’t heard a lot of buzz around Strange Darling which is a shame. I would have loved to see it at the cinema, especially going in blind!

Aww man. Just heard that Ray Mayhew died a couple of weeks ago. I still rate Sigue Sigue Sputnik’s ’Flaunt It’ as one of the best pop records ever made. Fight me.
