Had to run to catch my bus because I got waylaid by my favorite father/daughter dog team that I hadn't seen outside in moooooonths sitting in their backyard being EXCITED AS HECK to see me and demanding all the pets.
So we had to spend tons of time celebrating the occasion before moving on.

Ran into Crow of the Year (2024-2025) on my way to the bus stop today. He was effortlessly cutting me off and catching cheese mid air as I walked by. Got a shot of him in action at the bus stop.

My buddy came back from foster. I was so happy to see him again. On the other hand, he was apparently pissed about the whole "back in the kennels" thing, and was giving some people enough of a hard time that his handling level got bumped up.
I am stupidly kinda proud of him for that.
We had fun.

Cheesegiving was going well, with many crows peacefully applying gentle social pressure to get as many handouts as possible. Then everything erupted into noise and arguments as a bunch of crows gathered in a communal space to very loudly disagree about who got to be there.
