I grew up reading Mad Magazine. Mad had a recurring theme that technology would create so much leisure time we would have trouble figuring out what to do with ourselves.

His statement actually highlights a view that I've had a problem with for a while, but haven't been able to put my objection into words. Something about the idea of 'comic book movies/shows' being thought of as one thing, when they really aren't.
