Yes, it's a painful process for both ends. Just put some food and water close where they hide and checks them a few moments just in case. At the end they remember those things when they grow up and get very attached to you :)

At the very end it's a mix of addiction to the feeling of fighting with others create, and the engagement with bots and ragebait making them feel heard (in a good or bad way). It's really sad... Also, not counting the ones getting money by ragebait.
