GDP isn't fit for a Net Zero world. Shifts to active travel, energy saving, reduce + reuse, circular economy etc, tends to reduce consumption numbers in GDP. There is still a positive correlation between GDP growth and CO2 emissions. Does focusing on GDP as a metric impede CO2 reduction efforts?

Only 56% of planning approvals got approved in SE England in 2022, 61% London, over 90% Scotland.
The biggest problem according to comparative studies is that there is not active promotion of land supply for residential use in England. It's a case-by-case system, not strategic enough.

GDP is not a sensible measure of progress. Shift from a 2 car household to 1 car + cycling, that's a negative for GDP, fewer cars sold, fuel, insurance, tax, road maintenance. exercise and less pollution -> healthcare lower spending. All of this is negative for GDP, it's clearly better for society

Has anyone experience with using a multi-level agentic architecture with GenAI models? Interested to hear how it's working out, what pitfalls you've encountered and challenges you've overcome.
