Ok, got it, when a game is installed, in that game’s Settings>Advanced, pick “Disable umu”.

You can try running the game regularly, but from the start I had controller issues. Doing this fixed everything (even if I think it must be set for every installed game separately)

I basically installed the Steam Deck version of this and logged into Gog through it: worked pretty dam perfectly (there was 1 setting I had to change to make it run games straight from Gaming Mode after installing, lemme check that real quick)

Alpha Protocol is really phenomenal, played it last year or the one before, an Obsidian game on all senses, and even in its flaws I had a great time!

I read Homo Deus and Nexus of his, both which are horrendous. And while I didn’t find much scholarship directly tackling them I did find one on Sapiens that criticised his early views of humanity, might be worth a look!
