📢 Today we launch Ocean Takeover, a new report revealed at the UN Ocean Conference in Nice.

Mediterranean seabass & seabream farming is NOT the sustainable solution it claims to be — it’s driving food injustice & destroying critical ocean ecosystems.

Reducing methane is the emergency lever we need to slow the rate of global heating🌡️

But a tracker published by Changing Markets Foundation and Mighty Earth reveals a troubling lack of #ClimateAction from major #supermarkets, who have a vital role to play in reducing emissions from meat and dairy.

Even ‘sustainable banks’ are investing in industrial salmon farming.

As of November 2024, Triodos invested US$16M into Bakkafrost — one of the world's largest salmon farming companies 🌍
